Kashruth

Jewish tradition promises that in the world-to-come, people will be served one of two foods: shor ha-bor (wild ox) and Leviathan (a huge fish).

A question is raised: Why isn't it sufficient to serve the wild ox? Why does God also need to provide fish on the menu?

Answer: For the sake of the very pious Jews who will say, "I am not sure about His kashruth. Just let me have a piece of fish."
